Caves and Wine
Today was what will hopefully be the first annual Virginia cave and wine tour. We all loaded into a rental Grand Caravan and headed off to Front Royal to take a tour of Skyline Caverns. There had been a lot of talk about rabid bat attacks so we were relieved to see no actual bats while in the cave. Following the tour, we headed off to Naked Mountain Vineyard to do some wine tasting and enjoy their seasonal lasagna lunch, which was delicious. After lunch we met our new friend Terri who was there with her meetup.com wine group. She was very friendly… Next we headed off toOasis Vineyard, apparently the only vineyard around open after 5 PM, and sampled some more wine. Finally the van headed east to the sweet sounds of freestyle rap. Lots of pictures here.
