Trip to San Francisco
Last week I headed out to San Francisco to attend the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference and to visit a friend. The conference itself went well and we had about eight people from my company attending. We kept busy and didn’t do many touristy things during the week. Our reasonably nice hotel was situated about two 
blocks into the wrong side of the tracks and unfortunately sidewalk skirmishes and public urination were all too frequent. Next year, we should probably book a hotel a little earlier, before they all fill up. For the weekend, I stayed with an old friend who I hadn’t seen in many years. It was great catching up and the weekend included lots of great food and wine and a day trip to Napa. All in all, a very enjoyable week with perfect weather in one of my favorite cities. Trip to Cincinnati
I just took a nice long four-day weekend and headed out to Cincinnati, OH to visit Lauren and Frank and the most recent addition to their family, Ella. We had a great time hanging out, eating, and exploring the Cincinnati Nature Center. Ella is almost three months old now and is adorable.
