New Jersey weekend
This past weekend, I went up to Lambertville, NJ to visit my friends Wes and Anne at their relatively new house. I met Wes in college and they lived in the DC area for many years before moving there about two years ago.
I took Friday off and got a jump on traffic, making the trip with no hold-ups of any kind. Lambertville is a small, historic town on the Delaware River right across from New Hope, PA and it’s surrounded by countryside. There are lots of rolling rural roads with very little car traffic, perfect for cycling!
On Friday afternoon, we went for a ride, went in the pool, and went out for dinner and relaxed. Saturday was a nice long bike ride in the morning, more pool time, and grilling in the evening. Sunday morning we went and walked around New Hope for a little while, took my picture on this awesome statue, and got lunch at Wiener World! After that, I headed down 95 south on a less than perfect journey home. A very nice weekend!!
