DC night photos

On Wednesday evening, I met up with a group of friends who are doing a self-taught photography class to do a little night photography in DC. We ended up heading down to the Washington Monument and WWII Memorial, which is always great after dark. Here are a few pictures from the evening.

Crafty Bastards

monsters!Today, I went to the Crafty Bastards Arts and Crafts Fair in Adams Morgan with Constance and her sister. It consisted of a densely packed collection of booths featuring all sorts of wondrous goods. Also available for your entertainment was a break dance competition and some freaky stilt-walkers. Monsters of various shapes and sizes seems to be extremely popular. Plush toys, hats, shirts, buttons, could all be had in monster form. Equally popular was the classic t-shirt with something ironic or goofy on it. There was some really interesting, creative stuff at the show too, but nothing I felt compelled to buy. The fetus cookie cutters were nice though. Here are some more pictures.
